REFUND POLICY
PART A: Returns
- We accept returns within 7 days from the date of delivery.
- Returns do take us 7-10 business days to process upon reaching admin@serenitybooks.lk. Once your return is inspected by us and is processed and your refund is issued, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your credit/debit card account. This varies depending on your financial institution.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
(i) in the same condition that you received it,
(ii) unworn or unused, with tags, if any and
(iii) in its original packaging.
- You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase/delivery.
- To start a return, you can contact us at admin@serenitybooks.lk. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.
- You will be responsible for paying the delivery cost for returning your item unless the return is due to our error (such as wrong item shipped, defective product)
PART B: TRACKING MY RETURN
- Please allow us 7-10 business days for processing from when we receive your return. You will receive an email once your return has been accepted and processed.
- Damage and shipping issues: Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, like books with torn pages, damaged books or items in unusable quality. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item at admin@serenitybooks.lk.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of gift cards.
PART C: Exchanges
- The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
- Refunds: We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your purchase will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your financial institution to process and post the refund too.
If more than 14 business days have lapsed after you receive the approval of your return/exchange via email, please contact us at admin@serenitybooks.lk.
